“He [Jesus] came not to make neutral people pro-Jesus, but to make guilty people not guilty, and dead people alive. That's why He came. And it's all undeserved grace when it happens.”
                                                                          ~John Piper

Mark & Mindy Heflin Mark and Mindy both work with Athletes In Action, focusing on athletes at OU. Mindy joined staff in January 1995, was assigned to OU and has been serving here with her loving influence ever since. Mark joined staff in 1984 when he knew he was called by God to help reach the world with God’s love and forgiveness. He has served at Arkansas State, University of Memphis, and University of Redlands, CA. Mark came to OU in the fall of ‘96 after marrying Mindy that summer. Mark graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Business, but also holds a Masters of Divinity from The International School of Theology in Biblical Studies (Greek and Hebrew) and Leadership Development. His wife, Mindy, attended Baldwin-Wallace College and graduated with a degree in Psychology.

Mark and Mindy are excited for the 2009-2010 school year because they believe God is going to do amazing things in the lives of OU students! Mindy loves that her job allows her to see lives change and know that no two days will be the same. Mark enjoys that through his work he can see God’s glory on a daily basis. Mark and Mindy have four children (Mark, 9 years; Mariah, 7 years; Mariana, 4 years; and Micah, 2 years).
