Imagine yourself sitting on a stone bench on the campus of the University of Nantes striking up a conversation with three French students, asking about their view of God and getting an opportunity to share about your relationship with Christ. As you talk with them about their lives and their religious backgrounds, you begin to discover the similarities in your journeys. Your journey, however, has Christ at
the center and right there is where your story intersects with their current spiritual need.
Ohio University’s partnership with Agape (the CCC ministry in Nantes, France) means that our campus has the unique opportunity of coming alongside of the French by praying for and sending students to be a part of the ministry on the Nantes campus. The focus of STINT (Short Term International) is evangelism and discipleship. You will be doing ministry in the context of a team, working with other Americans and national students. STINT is a one- to two-year commitment to opening up new ministry opportunities in Nantes, to connecting with French university students to share the gospel, and to disciple and build into believers involved with Agape. On STINT, you have the freedom to be creative in developing new ways to reach the city with the gospel, whether through large-scale outreaches, holiday parties, English club, or Bible studies.
