“He [Jesus] came not to make neutral people pro-Jesus, but to make guilty people not guilty, and dead people alive. That's why He came. And it's all undeserved grace when it happens.”

The Amazing Race: Fall Retreat 2009

Whether or not you’ve seen the TV show, you probably know that The Amazing Race is all about a journey around the world. Maybe you’ll never be on the show, but you can come to Fall Retreat! Feel the intensity of this global adventure as you join with others to learn about teamwork and relying on God through our speakers and activities. By the end of the weekend, you’ll know what the Apostle Paul means when he says, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

Bacho Bordjadze

THE SPEAKER:
BACHO BORDJADZE

Bacho, a native of the Republic of Georgia in the former USSR, came to know the Lord as his Savior when he met American students with Campus Crusade for Christ who were on a missionary trip to Georgia. The Lord then led Bacho to the U.S. for a summer project where he met Pastor Jim and Jan Sylvester. By God’s grace, Bacho attended The Ohio State University, met his wife Laura and began working for Campus Crusade for Christ. As the Missional Team Leader for Campus Crusade at OSU, he and Laura lead a movement of 600 students and 15 staff to help pioneer student ministries here and in the countries of Central Asia and France. Bacho and Laura live in the Columbus area with their son and daughter.
